Hi, My present PC is several years old and I'll be getting a new PC which looks like it will be Windows 7.

I would like to save myself the bother of having to re-enter all my existing passwords etc from my present Windows XP machine onto the new one.

So is there an easy way to migrate my settings from my present Firefox to the new one?

Thanks in anticipati0n, Gordo

For details of how to do this manually, see Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.

The FEBE add-on can be used to backup and restore your entire profile folder (location where user data is stored). Another option is the free third-party MozBackup utility. I do not use either of these, I prefer manually backing up & restoring the data, but many people recommend them.
