I am in Mexico and US browsers will not allow me to see full episodes of The Daily Show or The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Error response was 'show is not available in your area. Therefore, as instructed by several notices on the web, I installed Firefox. System is installed correctly with all the appropriate plug-ins which are updated. I still get the same error response. Did Comedy Central block you as well? Please advise.

I just tried it and get the same error (I am in the UK). They appear to have limited access to the shows to certain countries.

They're not blocking "browsers", they're blocking IP addresses that are outside their viewing area.

As emeister said below, I did try to change the IP address as advised by helpful online techies who are tons smarter than I. Apparently I'm hooked into a Mexico dialup server (have no clue the name as the service comes with my rented condo) and the error response said not available with a LAN line. So if anyone can advise on that problem I would appreciate it.

As to your problem Tony, frankly I don't understand at all why you're blocked in the UK. I spent a few months in Germany and had no problem seeing the full episodes. There are US military bases in both countries so go figure.

I thought by switching to Foxfire/Monzilla (also advised as on online remedy) the problem would be resolved. But alas and alack no such luck.
