After upgrading to Firefox 4.0, my Google toolbar will not recognize the "suggestions" and will not search with the enter key. I have reinstalled the Google toolbar with no success. How can I fix this?

In the location bar, type: about:config and hit Enter.

  1. In the filter at the top, type keyword.URL
  2. Double click it and remove whatever you see in there. You'll see it revert to "Default" and "String".
  3. Go to File | Exit and then restart Firefox.

If for some reason or other hitting Enter doesn't load the about:config window, load Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode first.
