I use Firefox on two computers. Is there a way to sync the bookmarks from each so that the bookmark menus will be identical on each computer once the sync process is completed?

In the process of using the two computers (desktop and latop) bookmarks get saved on one machine that I would also like to be available of the second machine. I can do the with IE because the bookmarks are overt files that can be copied into the appropriate folder. IN Firefox, however, the bookmark backup is largely unreadable, so merging two backup files appears to be not possible. Such a merge capability (e.g., of two distinct backup files) would seem to be generally useful. As it is now, I can't even PRINT a list of bookmarks from one computer to use to help create the missing entries in the other. Is there a way to do this?

Thank you.

You can automate this by using the Firefox Sync add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-sync/
