On my credit union website some of the printed words overlap on the next line. Also a subtitle on the home page is halfway dropped from the blue bar it is supposed to be in.

You might check your zoom level for the site. If you have zoomed "text only" then sometimes the text will overflow the allotted space.

Use View > Zoom > Reset to see whether that is a factor.

If that's not it, it's a bit difficult to guess without seeing the page. This article (and the articles it links to) can help with troubleshooting:

Thanks for your input. One thing I have discovered--when I use Internet Explorer to get to that website it appears okay. Also, my credit union has the option of viewing a check that has been posted. Firefox won't display it but Internet Explorer does. Go figure......................

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
