Perhaps you inadvertently press CTRL+SHIFT+P?

Your Flash installation is severely out of date which exposes your system to attack, but it's unlikely to have caused the type of problem described. You should update it a.s.a.p. though. See http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa11-02.html
