Every page I open on Firefox has mouse-over text links appear randomly in the text. These links to "subject" oriented pages from sponsors of EpicPlay Entertainment. This even happens when I go to my own web page. I don't like advertising for anybody without benefit of reciprocation. Would you please look into his matter?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I had the same problem. These annoying pop-ups come from an installed program called EpicPlay.

Open your control panel (run appwiz.cpl) and uninstall EpicPlay. Your machine will reboot, and the problem should be fixed.

At least that is how I solved the problem. Any questions, just let me know.
