After a crash, on a restart of Firefox, I get the option to restore the previous session or start a new. (There is another tab opened by the link I clicked which started Firefox after the crash). Before I have a opportunity to 'Restore Previous Session', my PC gets restarted by automatic updates. Subsequently, when I restart Firefox, I do NOT get the 'Restore Previous Session' option.

I have looked at the sessionrestore.js file and it appears to be newly created for this session (no original url's from before the crash). WinXP Pro, SP3.

I had a similar problem which led to another. And so I went into the Profile: how many Sessionstore files are in yours?

I suspect my crashes were caused by an overload in that last one...
