I am a web design student and a class assignment required me to build a PHP contact page. I have tried using the contact page, but is not working in Firefox. I checked and rechecked the coding, and found no errors. My PHP works in Internet Explorer, so I do not think my coding is in error. But the same PHP does not work in Firefox 6.0.2. My student Web space is in Art Institute Online Division.

The fact that it works in Internet Explorer does not mean that it is error free because Internet Explorer does not check mutch on errors. IE displays anything that looks like a webpage, while Firefox is very precise and only displays pages that are 100 percent error free. There can still be some coding errors or you may be sending the page with some bad headers for example the wrong MIME type. So you need to check what Firefox is actually receiving.

You are loading that PHP file via a local server because Firefox doesn't process PHP code?

The question mark at the end of your statement would indicate that you are asking me that queston. Humm... not sure how to answer. The HTML, CSS and PHP documents are loaded in my student web space. I open them in Firefox and Internet Explorer. In Firefox, when I click SEND on my Contact page on my site, I get the confirmation page that says my message has been sent, but receive no email of the contents of the contact page. When I do the same thing in Internet Explorer, I get the Confirmation page that my message has been sent, and I get the email in my inbox that came from the Contact page form. It is working in IE, but not working in FF. Its frustrating. I'm using IE9 and FF6.0.2. Thank you for your assistance.
