We lost power and the computer shut down. When my boyfriend started it up again and he opened Firefox and box came up and said it was not turned off properly and "do you want to start Firefox in safe mode" He clicked "yes" not realizing what he was doing. And now I can't get out of safe mode! I've tried all the suggestions that I could find. The main one was to file and exit. Nothing changed. I updated to the latest version and nothing has changed.

Hi Luan1958,

Have you looked at the article Firefox is stuck in Troubleshoot Mode? I would also check the shortcut that you use to launch Firefox. Look at the properties to see if the command line flag for Safe Mode has been added to the shortcut for some reason.

Hopefully this helps!
