Firefox should read the forums on Real player video downloading, would'nt that help to realize there is a problem to fix?
Why is firefox not addressing the problem with Real player and providing a solution to the inability of downloading videos using Real player? So many firefox users have written their grievances on your forum concerning this issue.

Sorry, but Real Networks needs to fix problems with their Real Player or the Real Player add-ons for Firefox. Mozilla has nothing to do with fixing Real's problems.
It seems most everyone agrees that it is not Real players problem, when the same version seems to work exceptionally well on Explorer. I have had more than one version of Real player in my past and have never witnessed any difficulty in the use of it while on Explorer. With my newly installed version of Firefox, I have even had problems with downloads stalling out for some software downloads. Also Real player offers a full page of several things a person can do to resolve the problem in various versions of Explorer and Firefox versions as well, but none of the remedies for Firefox has worked as stated by many on this site. There is no place I have found on Firefox that allows enabling of Real player downloads. All the plugins are enabled, but still cannot download any videos from youtube using Real player, and it can be done with Explorer. Stating that it is a Real player problem sends the message that no one from Firefox is looking into the possibility it could be caused by Firefox's latest version. Hopefully the remedy will be found by both entities working together no matter who is responsible for the glitch. I can only say Real player has nothing to do with fixing Mozilla's problems as well.
I did exactly what you suggested, and made sure that I had the latest Real Player installed. I rebooted, and then checked the FireFox Add-ons - Real Player Downloader was grayed out, and the message was that FireFox 10 is not compatible with the Downloader. There was no button (Enable) available.
Upgrading Real Player to 15.0 will bring back the video to Firefox browser, but the RP downloading button is still missing. Any help there?
Only Mozilla Firefox has this problem with Real Player Down Loader...lamely blamed on "security Issues" Since all of us have Avast or other virus protection software that are updated every 12 hours, I feel safe that if I did happen to try and download a malicious file, Avast would block it as happens twice a day...a red alert thing comes up and the virus is blocked and sent to the chest. Since Google Chrome and Internet Explorer work fine with Real Player, I just use one of them when I want to down load. If Firefox sees their $$$$ slipping away, they need to sharpen up their research on this issue and fix it.
