I am red/green colorblind & can't see the difference in the purple visited link from the blue unvisited. they are nearly identicle in hue intensity. How to change this & still see the buttons & icons in yahoo mail ?

The purple visited color is too close to the blue unvisited, since I can't detect the red contribution. If I change the visited color with options/colors/use system colors/, the various buttons & flags in yahoo web mail & other pages disappear. This is explained in another problem/answer dialogue as by causing the loss of the page background layer.

How can I make visited more visible ?

There are a few alternatives here.

I do not use Yahoo mail and there is a possibility you may be able to customise that which could be the best solution.

You can change Firefox from the drop-down menus use

You will also have options to change such things in the Windows XP OS. And possibly the best method of all would be to use a firefox add-on and possibly greasemonkey scripts scripts that almost gives you the ability to redesign the web pages.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.
