Can't upload files via yousend it with firefox but can with safari - why? (mac)
I've been using yousendit to send files regularly and successfully for the last 2 years, always with Firefox. Suddenly, after attaching a file, the screen always says 'connecting' but I never get as far as seeing an uploading time bar. Yousendit support suggested trying the site with safari and it worked - have I clicked something daft in firefox without realising? Yousendit support had no idea why this would be an issue..... I prefer firefox and use it for every other web browsing activity and it's fine - the only problem is with yousendit, something I need for my work most days!! Ideas greatly appreciated!

Hi carriepatsalis,
You might want to check to be sure that all your plugins are up to date:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
I know some sites rely on flash for their upload features. You could also try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.
Hopefully this helps!

Matt_G you've cracked it! Thanks so much. I did the plug in check first and that didn't work, but then started firefox in safe mode, which for the other tech wombats out there like me is located in 'help'/'restart with add-ons disabled' from the toolbar- you'll see a box to tick to restore firefox settings to original ones - tick and press go. It's done it - so thanks a mill and aurevoir safari!
