I've set History and Cache to clear on exit. Can I still have 'Recently closed tabs' displayed on the New Tab Page?

Thank you.

Those thumbnails on the about:newtab page are loaded from the cache, so you won't see anything (just empty squares) if you clear the cache when you close Firefox.

hello, the new tab page in firefox 13 is showing the 9 most visited pages - in case you're clearing all history information on exit, this information will not be available (or just repopulated during a session) and the new feature won't be of much use.

however, you can customize the new tab page - drag and drop bookmarks and pages from the history onto the new tab page and pin them to add custom entries...

Hello,

Thank you.

If I understand you correctly, 'Recently closed tabs' (random, not most used) are not displayed even if history is not cleared.

I appreciate your help.
