No sound on The Daily Show videos, video plays fine
I have no problem play video with sound in all web sites (like U-Tube, MSNBC, NY-Times, etc.). Only in Comedy Central the videos play properly but no sound.
This happened once before and I was able to restore sound after uninstalling QuickTime. Now, after updating to FF 13.0, no sound only in Comedy Central web site. I don't have QuickTime installed now, so I have no idea where the conflict is coming from.
Here are some things I tried: Started FF in safe mode Removed AdBlock and FlashBlock Cleared Cache and cookies Uninstalled and reinstalled Java, Adobe Flash Tried Chrome and IE tab in FF I even installed Quicktime and then uninstalled it, just to see whether uninstalling QT will help.
Nothing worked. I have no problem in any other site, only the Comedy Central videos have no sound, that too only after upgrading to FF 13.0
Thankful for any useful suggestion ....

Try to clear the Flash local storage and settings or at least the settings for the Comedy Central website.
- Windows Control Panel > Flash Player, click Delete All and Delete Data

Hi,
Please check if this happens in a new profile. Please also note that the default volume of the site's player is adjusted at 50%.
