When I open a new tab page, the most used sites flash up for a microsecond then disappear, leaving the page looking like it's always looked. I looked for the pin icon and couldn't find one, so I tried dragging a bookmark onto it and I was just taken to the bookmarked page. I haven't cleared the cache and it wasn't full either. Any ideas?

Does the page open if you type about:newtab in the location bar?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Thanks, it was an extension for the nectar search toolbar that I never used anyway. Only took 5 mins to sort it, many thanks
