running windows 7, firefox 14.0.1 - "send link" doesn't link with Thunderbird (default). Tried the "about:config" fix and checked "network.protocol-handler.external.mailto" which was set to "true" as required. I've closed and reopened Firefox and Thunderbird and rebooted win 7 but no success. What now?

I had previously changed Tools-Options-Apps- Mailto from T'bird to Gmail and tested "send link" with Gmail, it worked OK to Gmail. After checking the "about:config" setting which was "true", I went back to Tools-Options-Apps-Mailto and changed back to T'bird (default). After making the change back to T'bird in the Apps, the "send link" worked to T'bird. Perhaps the process of deselecting T'bird, going to Gmail and then going back to T'bird caused the App to reset itself. Don't know why but it works with T'bird now. Thanks.
