When I export my Firefox favorites, by only selecting the Favorites Toolbar, I get all the bookmarks. I can import them to Internet Explorer favorites toolbar folder, I get them all, but I only want the Firefox Toolbar favorites. How do I export 1 folder?

There really isn't a good way to do this but if you're desperate to make it work you could try this crazy workaround:

  1. Create a manual backup of your Firefox bookmarks.
  2. Delete all of your bookmarks except for the ones in the bookmarks toolbar folder.
  3. Export those bookmarks and import them into Internet Explorer
  4. Restore your bookmarks from the backup you made in step 1.

You can edit the exported bookmarks.html file with a text editor and only leave the Bookmarks Toolbar section. That should be too difficult to do.

You can also copy the Bookmarks Toolbar items in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) to the clipboard and paste them in an HTML capable editor and import that file in IE.
