The Style Editor uses Shift+F7 as the shortcut key.
If pressing the Shift key activates it then you may have a sticky F7 key that Firefox thinks is pressed.
You can try to press the F7 key a few times to see is that helps or close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
