Scrolling on the site http://www.dsl.sk/ works fine (either with mouse wheel, cursor keys or scrollbar drag&drop), but the position of the scrollbar is not updated. This problem first appeared after I upgraded from 16.0.1 to 17.0. Also it works fine on any other site I've tried so far.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I don't have any other themes installed and I have hardware acceleration disabled (antialiased fonts hurt my eyes in a measurable way). I've tried to replicate the problem on a clean install of FF 17 without any success. That probably means one of the extensions is causing this. Since the upgrade to FF 17 already broke too many extensions that I use, I've switched to 10.0.11 ESR until the situation becomes a bit more stable.
