I can't unistall firefox from windows 7 with any method suggested in mozilla help article
I need to uninstall firefox and then reinstall to get rid of babylon crap. Regardless of any other suggestions you may have for removing babylon I want to uninstall firefox and reinstall it. I am running a hp laptop with windows7 64bit up-to-date. I have tried to uninstall in the usual way through control panel>uninstall. At your article's suggestion I tried uninstalling via uninstall helper in mozilla, x86>mozillafirefox>uninstall>helper.exe. In both cases there was no apparent action taken. Firefox still runs fine. I have found no other suggestions online except to download some uninstall program or other. I don't wish to add crap. I want to be able to uninstall with existing windows 7 program. I have recently scanned with regcure and AVG free home ed. My firefox version is 18.0.2.

If you used an installer to install Firefox in the first place, you should be able to uninstall it from the Control Panel. If you used a zip file to install it, just delete the program directory, then search for and delete the Firefox entries in the registry.
Uninstalling and re-installing won't get rid of Babylon, believe me.
Try to Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
And uninstall Babylon from the control panel.
Using Reset firefox did get rid of the last of babylon. So, thank you for that, big help! I still can't uninstall firefox, but perhap the urgency is gone.
