Automatic resizing of any branching menu "font" when cursor opens a branching menu. How do I fix this?

I reinstalled Firefox and deleted all personalized data and the issue still arises. The resizing is really small for the first branching menu and really big if there is a second branching. The cycle repeats for a third and so on. The issue only affect the branching menu pop up and not the rest of the Firefox page. The error is hard to describe so I uploaded a picture of the first branching error using windows 7 snipping tool. http://oi49.tinypic.com/35idehh.jpg

A solution will be much appreciated.
