Firefox 21 had a problem with extremely slow waking from sleep in some configurations, particularly where ZoneAlarm was running. This was fixed in Firefox 22.

I don't know whether that problem is relevant to Firefox 17.0.8esr. Since users who experienced the Firefox 21 problem generally had to crash Firefox themselves, rather than finding a crash dialog upon waking, I suspect you're experiencing something different.

Thank you for posting the crash IDs. Unfortunately, 3 of the last 4 crash reports didn't contain sufficient information to correlate them with a specific problem. (The 4th is associated with numerous different script-related issues and doesn't clearly point to a specific solution.)

It's difficult to suggest a particular culprit for this. Can you relate its appearance to particular changes, such as the release of Firefox 23.0/17.0.8esr on August 6th, installation of a new extension, updating of extensions, Windows updates, or any other change?

Thank you jscher2000 for your reply. I can't really find any connection to upgrades or new installs. One thing - it is very consistent with "awake" of the PC. I've checked the Windows Event log, but nothing related there.
