REALLY stop Shockwave Flash plugin INSTANTLY; Mission:Impossible
I was VERY happy using Firefox 20 and killing the Shockwave Flash plugin using the provided button in the Add-Ons dialog to get rid of the cursor flickering (that happens after viewing certain sites) and drives me mad. I simply stopped and started it immediately, problem solved.
NOW: Firefox 25 decided that they I cannot stop the *** plugin anymore, instead there's a useless "Never load, ask on load, ask everytime time" select with USELESS OPTIONS: NONE of these actually STOP THE PLUGIN: THE CURSOR REMAINS FLICKERING IN ALL SITES UNTIL I CLOSE FIREFOX. This drives me MAD, I CANNOT be restarting firefox everytime the damn plugin stars the cursor flickering (appearing and disappearing quickly, constantly, on the ENTIRE browser). I'm moving back to Firefox 20 if the STOP PLUGIN button is not added REALLY SOON.
STAFF: YOU *MUST* RESTORE THE STOP PLUGIN BUTTONS *URGENTLY*. Leave all the useless crap of options there, but ADD THE STOP BUTTON. Shockwave Flash has this mouse flicker issue since I can remember, even in the good old Firefox 3.6.
Flash was not fixed and it will never be fixed, no matter how many ridiculous updates are released by Adobe: The Flash plugin was, is and will be a headache for the rest of our life times. Stopping the plugin is the ONLY solution, and someone had the GREAT idea to remove this feature. Congratulations for screwing up something that worked perfectly!!

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.
Yes they are all up to date, I checked seconds before posting this.
