"Remember password" has always "popped up" when ever I fill out a form. Today, I delelted a password that I had changed at a site, because I have been having to fill it out manually. I did this in Prefrences/security/ > passwords button ... and removed the password for my craigslist account. Now when I go back to log in on craigslist, I do not get the "remember password" pop up to re-save it. "Remember Password" pops up on any other "new" page I want to save a password for (like this firefox support page) but not when I go back to the craigslist site I had once saved and then deleted before. How can I "force" the "remember password" to pop up on that page? I go to it, fill out my user name and password, click "submit" and do not get the Popup.

hello, websites can specify if browsers should be able to save username/passwords (through the autocomplete="off" attribute in the login form in the html source code) - this is often the case when a higher level of security is presumably required by those sites.

you can either install an addon or use a bookmarklet to circumvent this restriction.

Usernames and passwords are not saved
