I have a flash map on this page: http://www.intownelite.com/neighborhoods/buckhead-real-estate/ It works perfectly on all browsers I've tried, including Chrome, Safari and IE10. It previously worked on Firefox, too.

Now on Firefox, depending where the flash object is on the screen , when I hover over the names on the left or the map on the right, the alignment is off. IOW, I hover over one word, and the word 3 rows up illuminates, as if I'm hovering over it. I can scroll the screen and get to a point where it is aligned, but if I scroll down or up from there, it gets out of alignment. This makes no sense to me, and as I said, it works fine on all other browsers.

Since I noticed the problem I update Flash and updated from Firefox 26 to 27 (Mac), but the problem persists.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

Try to "disable the hardware acceleration" in the Flash Player.

Tried all of that, updated Flash again, no help.

Try to reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Command+0 on Mac)

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.

It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

Sorry, that didn't help either. Have you looked at the page in question? When it loads, if you hover over the Flash object before scrolling, it works fine. As soon as you scroll the browser, the alignment gets off. So strange!
