I print several EBAY labels a day. Just upgraded to firefox 29 (not realizing really what had changed - now regretting) and the built in PDF viewer no longer prints properly. It shows the label fine on the screen, but when sending to the printer (I tried two different ones) it just prints out two blanks pages. I tried a number of different printer settings and as i mentioned two different printers. Can't get anything to print now except two blank pages. If I switch the application settings in firefox to use an external 3rd party PDF viewer (e.g. Adobe reader 11, PDF Viewer plus, etc) those work fine. However, the default built in PDF viewer clearly broke in this new version. A very disappointing launch for me as this is critical feature for my use. Yes, I have a work around, but the point (and new bug) is still valid.

The "bug fix" in FF ver 29 obviously didn't work because I am running FF ver 32 and I'm still unable to print an online PDF direct from Firefox. This is hardly a new problem. A cursory inspection of this forum shows that exactly the same problem dates back to at least FF ver. 10.

What I fail to appreciate, at all, is the way Mozilla characteristically refuses to acknowledge they have a major, systemic problem.

Another example would be the notorious inability of the Firefox browser to run an Adobe flash web video. Nothing but evasion and denial from Mozilla about this; certainly no solution, not in 10+ years of widespread reporting of this major issue.

Instead, there's this play-acting stance that such problems must be odd, random problems with particular user configurations, instead of a chronic failure of Firefox itself.

At the very least, Mozilla should have the honesty to report these continuing, mass-experienced browser failures at the top of every congratulatory "What's New" message issued with each version upgrade.

palatino, if you're on firefox 32 and have a problem with printing pdfs then it is a different issue as was discussed here (the regression in firefox 29 had been fixed with bug 1003707). please open a new thread about that, including your troubleshooting information - digging up an old unrelated question won't do much to address your problem...
