For about a month now every time I click on Get Messages I get this error message: "Login to server pop-mail.outlook.com with username (my email address) failed" with the option to Retry or re-enter the password. If I Retry (without re-entering the password), it then correctly downloads my messages but repeats the error and I again need to "retry" just to clear it from the screen. I have 2 email accounts set up in Thunderbird and interestingly the error message points to the account address I'm not using. If I select the other account (then one referenced in the error message) the same error message occurs so it's the same message regardless of which email address trying to access. Any suggestions to fix this? Thanks.

My internet/email provider has changed the SMTP settings for my email. I have changed to the new settings. I can no longer open my email in Thunderbird. My password is no longer acceptable to Thunderbird. That password will sign me into my providers webmail.

When I go to Thunderbird Settings, then Saved Passwords I get a rather large (width) window that must have the passwords behind the right-hand border. I can find no way to scroll, change window size, etc in order to view my passwords. My wife;s computer which has Thunderbird, however, has the small window that mine used to have that can be sized to view all of the data including the passwords.

Please respond asap. Also, please send an email and send to nmesusa@gmail.com.

Thank you!

I downloaded and setup 2 days ago the Mozilla Thunderbird email program. My gmail account did fine and it operates as normal. My Comcast account does not even though when I set it up I got the green check mark and Comcast was recognized and registered. Now I constantly get this message: Login to server Mail.comcast.net with username ( withheld ) failed. I don't know how much more I can do that what I have already done? The Thunderbird program recognizes Comcast and Google granted access to my account. How can I stop this frequent fail message?
