I recently got a second monitor and I'm experiencing annoying flickering whenever I'm watching a video. It doesn't matter if the video is on my primary or secondary display. They're both the same resolution (1440p), but my main monitor is 165hz while the second is 60hz.

I've read online that disabling hardware acceleration and then re enabling it fixes this. This temporarily works for me and the artifacts disappear. But whenever I restart my PC, the issue returns and I have to disable and re enable hardware acceleration every time. How do I fix this permanently??

I contact you because I would like to connect to another account for sync in another Firefox profile, but I forgot my password. I already tried "forgot password", but I need the primary address from my account, that I forgot (And maybe I doesn't have it anymore...). But I have a secondary address that I added in my account in gmail, when I try to connect with this one, I'm redirected to the next step in the login process, and when I want to reset my password, I need my primary email, that I don't have it anymore. Then, I suppose my gmail address should be a secondary address in my account, is it possible to reset my password by sending my the code to this address ? Can you put my gmail address as my primary address ? My actual primary address for this account can be an address with protonmail (@protonmail.com/@proton.me/@pm.ne), but I don't have access anymore to these ones...

I have used Firefox for more years than I care to remember, but at the moment I'm forced to use Safari, which is OK but missing several vital features for me like translating Greek web pages!

The problem I have is this:- Whenever My M2 macbook Air running Sonoma 14.7.2 goes to sleep and wake it the screen is flickering and needs a hard restart. After lots of trial and error it appears to be something to do with Firefox version 133.0.3 (aarch64) as it only happens when I leave Firefox running.

I have run the Apple offline diagnostics multiple times immediately after the crash but I never get any reported errors. Interestingly I get no dialog from Apple that my Mac has crashed or needed to be restarted

I have restarted my Mac into safe mode, same problem

I have refreshed Firefox several times, same problem

Any help woulld be much appreciated!

For about the last 2 monthes, Firefox crashes regularly, with this message in a pop-up box:

Firefox Crash Reporter Firefox had a problem and crashed. Unfortunately, the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for this crash. Details: missing field 'include_url' at line 3 column 1

Afterwards, I can re-launch Firefox and resume activities.

I'm running Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems

Yesterday I downloaded the most recent version of Firefox. Since then, I can't open any new tabs. It won't load anything. Please assist soonest.

Я так понял, что в файерфокс больше одной вкладки открывать нельзя? Если было открыто более десяти вкладок в браузере, то рано, или поздно они обязательно слетят, без возможности восстановления? Очень удобно... Если честно, то вы- пидарасы... Перед открытием браузера, после обновления, вы выкладываете вкладку об обновлении версии... Вы обязаны выкладывать ссылку на восстановление ранее открытых вкладок. Суки! Восстановите мои, ранее открытые вкладки!!

I clicked on an 'update Firefox' button today and went through an update process. Now I am not able to open any of my tabs and get a "Gah, your tab just crashed" message, and the 'restore all crashed tabs' button does not help. Please assist. Over the past few weeks, tabs keep crashing several times a day. It happens most often on X, but this morning, a tab crashed while completing an online order (grrr). My computer is up to date, cookies, cache and history cleared regularly and today I "refreshed" Firefox. In less than an hour, tab crashed again. What is going on???

I'm very close to changing browsers.
