My data removal request is On hold -What to do

When a data removal request is unable to be removed or is paused due to a change in personal information, it is shown as On hold. The service will continue to work to remove the item. There is no guarantee that the On hold item will be removed. If you want to solve the issue yourself, you can click on the link you will find when you expand the tab of the item you are trying to remove.

  1. Expand the tab of the removal item that is On hold.
  2. Click the link under Manual removal instructions can be found at.
  3. Follow the link to the data broker site and follow instructions for opting out or removing personal information.
Note: if multiple links are listed, you may need to repeat for each link.
