Participate in the Firefox for Android testing program

This article is no longer maintained, so its content might be out of date.

Help build the Firefox that you want by testing its experimental features before they’re released to the public. Try them, break them, and tell us what you love or don’t love about them.

Ready to start? Follow these steps:

  1. Download Firefox Aurora, the experimental version of Firefox from the Google Play store.
  2. You’ll get updates through Google Play as new features become available for testing. To enable automatic updates, see Google’s support article.
  3. Use Firefox Aurora as you would the regular version of Firefox.
Since Firefox Aurora is an experimental version of Firefox, it won’t be as stable as the regular version of Firefox. That’s expected! You might experience some bugs and wonkiness, but the more problems you find, the more problems we can fix.
