I write an email, I press send and a window drops down telling me "Login Failed" Login to server mail.gmx.com failed. It gives three button options, "Enter New Password" "Cancel" or "Retry". I then hit retry for the next five minutes and finally it sends the email. It is unacceptable for email in this day and age. Anyone got an answer?

My gmx smtp settings are:

server name: mail.gmx.com port: 465 security: SSL/TLS authentication method: normal password username: full email address

Note that my address uses the gmx.co.uk domain, whereas the servers have gmx.com)

But you probably don't have any issues with these settings if it does at some point go through. Are you using antivirus email scanning that might be delaying it? If so, try with it disabled.
