Can someone confirm if mozilla-api[.]com is an official Mozilla domain? It was registered 7 months ago with Namecheap registrar. I am unable to find any overlap with official Mozilla infrastructure and I suspect this is a malicious domain.

Those domains are like not Mozilla domains as Mozilla domains would always have mozilla as the top level domain (xxx.mozilla.org/com/net -> api.mozilla.com), so never get confused by domain that contain mozilla or firefox. There can of course be other domain used by Mozilla, but they would never have such a weird hostname.
