I received a notification from @hotmail and @live that I won't be able to receive or send mail after Sept 17th without taking action - what steps should I take when I don't have Microsoft Office 360?

I have been a long term Firefox user, but recently Firefox on Ubuntu seems to have more and more problems.

I recently bought a new laptop and didn't import Firefox to the new one. Now I can't access my passwords etc on Firefox because it asks my for my primary password. I have no idea what that might be. Does anyone know if there is any way to recover the passwords please?

I use fire fox as my default browser. It is still the default but now when I go to search the yahoo start page comes on. I cannot search with fire fox as this stupid yahoo home page over rides it. Please help!

Hi, got a problem for the last several days - on each visited site Firefox (my guess) is launching a pop up about add-ons for Ad Blocks tham I am using were updated with official national filters for Polish market.

This is super annoying and the pop-up jumps on almost every new site bieng visited (it is visible for ca. 5 seconds). Is there any way to stop it? How can I dissable this feature?

I have searched for a solution but can only find a reference which suggests that the problem has something to do with Evolution, (the file handler, not Darwin's theory). Any suggestions? Cheers Ian

Sometimes it happens that an input field on a page in an IFRAME cannot be clicked. The buttons work, but you can't enter anything in the text field.

Only when I press in the address bar and then in the text field, now I can enter text in the text field.

Updated Thunderbird to 117.12.2 on the 25 June 2024. Since then I am not receiving emails on my computer. I have actually sent some emails but they don't save into the sent folder and I have had a "Add security exception" warning occured when sending.

Cannot use the hours dropdown on Calendar Widget in Mozilla, when I click on the hours, the dropdown appears for half a second and then dissapears, so I cannot use it. Works fine with Edge and Chromium. OS Ubuntu 24.04. Tried private mode and disabling add-ons - only one I have is UBlock. When inspecting the console does not show any errors.

have been using Thunderbird mail for about 3 years. It’s template selected the incoming and outgoing servers and ports etc..successfully. I've been connecting to Prodigy mail/ATT I had to change the battery and it doesn't work anymore. Can you help ???it checks the password until it shows an error message that the servers password or etc are wrong. I know the password is right since I can log in directly. Messages :

1- Configuration found in ISP Database

2- Checking Password (for a few minutes

3- Unable to log in at server..probably wrong configuration username or password

4 then nothing

Using TBird 15.10.1 64-bit on my Windows 10 desktop system, I find under Tools | Address Book a down arrow to the left of Personal Address Book; clicking on it displays all my created address lists, which are available when I compose a message to send.

Using 15.10.1 64-bit on my Windows 11 laptop, the down arrow does not appear and I have no access to those lists.

Am using IMAP on both systems. Tried importing lists as a CSV file; no effect. How can I get access to my address lists on both PCs?

This started a week or two ago intermittantly on some websites. Today I cannot see any images of amazon items in the shopping cart. I can see the thumbnails in the right side bar, and if I click on an item, the image appears on its for sale page. Ebay usually shows the first image, but the rest won't load, unless I click on "unable to load images" and then they might. Or if I use the icon to put the images in their own box, I can < and > to navigate them

I just got my PC back from the shop. It's the best LG Gram laptop they had with Windows 11, and it's 1-yr old. Much on it was corrupted and I'm having to reload many items, one being my Firefox. No, it still won't open up. I'm reaching you now via TOR. My TOR was also reinstalled, but it is able to open up. Can you think of what I may have done wrong? [I'm unable to check the option-email me when someone answers my thread {this email must be a thread}, but this will be fine.] Please note that I am so NOT tech-savvy, I don't even have any smart/mobile/cell phone. Just a plain old phone. (I should add I'm in my 70's, ill, and in a Nursing Home.) I looked through your troubleshooting sugggestions, but they are too fancy for me to understand. I'm not sure how this works, but I sure do hope you can offer some suggestions as to what I can try. Thanks so very much for your time and consideration of this matter. It's very much appreciated.

All morning I had been receiving and sending emails without issue. Then at approx 12:41 PM EST Thunderbird stopped working. I can send and receive emails through AOL to AOL but they do not show up in Thunderbird. I did not have any other computer issues and did not change any settings. Verizon told me it was an AOL issue, but I was able to successfully send and receive messages with AOL. AOL tried to fix it but ultimately said it was a Thunderbird issue. In the last 6 or 7 weeks I have had issues with Thunderbird. What is going on? Very Very Frustrating!!!
