On Firefox Android, every time i completely close the app and reopen it, I'm logged out of sync. Of course this is incredibly annoying and makes sync basically useless, since having to start a fresh session multiple times a day not only takes time but it creates a huge list of "devices" so sending tabs back and forth becomes a nightmare.

Any idea what might cause this? AFAIK I'm not swapping IP's multiple times a day and i haven't used a VPN during the time this started happening. (I do have ProtonVPN installed, but it's a fairly trustworthy company so i doubt it's that.)

I’ve tried everything but I cannot find the setting that makes it so I get logged out of any website when closing the app. It is usually tumblr or YouTube that logs me out! And only on my phone, not my computer!

I only got Firefox a month or so ago and so far I love it, but this bug started happening a few ways ago and I have no idea why it started!

Please help me it is driving me crazy. I’d love to pull up the YouTube on the Firefox browser and be logged in like usual instead of having to click and enter my password again!

Firefox Browser: When the cache size is around or over 1GB, then the browser starts experiencing issues. Primarily, it has difficulty loading webpages.

Current Solution: 01. I stop Firefox browser. 02. Delete browser cache. 03. Restart browser (and browser works - until cache size gets to around 1GB again).

Is this a bug?

Hi,

I am using Firefox on Android and every few minutes it will just refuse to load the page. This doesn't happen in Firefox on my laptop so I don't believe it is an Internet speed issue. Often it will just not load and timeout. I usually quit Firefox and clear the cache and that seems to help temporarily but a few minutes later it's doing it again. It's becoming unusable at this point and I have read posts from other people with similar issues. Can we get this fixed in general please? I couldn't find a way to contact Mozilla about this.

Does anyone have any tips or settings I can change to eliminate or reduce this problem?

I'm on Android 13 and Firefox 122.0

Let me know if need any other info. Thanks.

I have noticed that mobile browsers (including Firefox Mobile) don't seem to give you the option to clear cookies and other website data on close while preserving website info/cookies of sites you want to keep logged into.

Is this a feature that will eventually be implemented in Firefox? Or is there some kind of limitation in Android/iOS that makes implementing this not possible or tricky?
