About two or three times a month the PC randomly freezes completely if a video is running in the actual Firefox browser (regardless of the site, regardless of whether it is in the active tab or in the background). First the image freezes, after about 10 seconds the sound freezes. Only a hard reset helps. The problem is observed both in actual Windows 11 and in Manjaro Linux. In games, rendering, stress tests and other PC works stably, does not freeze. How to solve this problem?

my fit to page is NOT a matter of zoom. No matter what size it is some of the page is off the screen. And when I try to type an e-mail there is no space showing what I am typing. The e-mail space will not expand. All this happened when I chose to make Firefox my default. before that there was no problem

I reinstalled windows 10 and this is my second laptop that microsoft seems to have locked the sound use on any other browser than microsoft edge, sound works perfectly on microsoft edge but will not work on any other browser, has anybody else had this issue, i have contacted Mozilla before but nobody answers. thankyou

I’ve explored several approaches, but I’ve run into challenges with each method

Does anyone know of a more effective way to achieve this? Any guidance on modifying FoxyProxy settings on launch or programmatically managing Firefox extensions in general would be greatly appreciated!

When I tried to start Firefox it started an automatic update - like it has many times before. But I then got an error message referring to 'entry point not found' . I have used Firefox for many years without any problems.

1. Close Firefox (FF) with some tabs open 2. While FF is closed the websites are updated 3. Open Firefox, tabs reopen 4. Go to tabs

Expected: Tabs should the latest version of the website (ie the page has been refreshed)

Actual: Tabs are showing the old, previous (cached) versions of the website and not refreshing to show the latest

User has to manuall refresh each tab to see the latest version of the page

Are other people seeing this issue?

Everytime I restart my PC and open firefox the window has reverted to some default configuration. The new tab button is gone, the forward and back buttons are on the right hand side (usually they are on the left), and the bookmarks window is gone. I can then "refresh firefox" to have it revert to the correct setup.

Is there a way to stop this from happening. I restart my PC often, it would be nice for firefox to not do this

I am having a great deal of difficulty with Firefox playing YouTube videos. While I have been very happy with Firefox for a number of years I am thinking of going back to Google Chrome. I need to access YouTube videos for my work. I recognise that you will have 1000s of email requests for support but I would like a personal email back rather than being referred to a chat room that does not provide any help or solutions.

Recently I have upgrade my OS from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04, but while I logged in my firefox account to recover my bookmarks & settings, I can't find them. How to recover my bookmarks?

Don't know how, but I deleted Firefox on my desktop. Re-downloaded it on my computer and signed into my acct. But how do I get my NUMEROUS web bookmarks and folders w/ web bookmarks back? I still have everything on my phone app, but if try to sync I think my phone will just get what my computer now has which is nothing.

The font for the search results has changed to one that is hard to read. I'd like to change it back, changing the font in settings back to default doesn't seem to change it. The other parts of the search results not circled are fine and unaffected.

I have a Zoom.com account which I use for my home-based business. Within the last week, I suddenly cannot log into that account using Firefox.

I can get to https://us06web.zoom.us/signin#/login

I can enter my credentials and click the "Sign In" Control....

but then, the progress spiral starts spinning and I never get logged in.

  (My current attempt has been "hanging" for hours)

The verification mode that accompanies the payment page keeps asking me to match images. I do that if the version of the matching image is exactly the same as the one given. However, if the version is different--eyeballs, nose, mouth--then I don't match it. What am I supposed to do to get through this verification mode and make my payment in order to complete my order.

signing into my email online account resulted in an error message 404. tried another browser and I could sign in. I believe the cache holding the error page needs cleared
