On startup TB pops an error box up saying ' There is no email program associated to perform this action'. When dismissed TB continues to open normally. No other errors seen during operation.

I have checked my Win 10 Control Panel Apps options. TB is the email default. MailTo, file type .eml and all other settings I can see are set to TB as well.

A few updates ago in the Polish version of Thunderbird in the drop-down menu of the "inbox" ("Odebrane" in Polish) folder several shortcuts have the same letter underlined. For example, the letter W is used twice and the letter O twice. This makes it impossible to use this convenient method of handling mail.

Up to a few days ago, when someone sent me a meeting invitation by email, I could accept it on my Thunderbird email app (on my windows 11 laptop) and it would be added to my Thunderbird calendar. When I would open an email invitation, there was always a line/bar that would appear below the subject line that would say "this message contains an invitation to an event" on the left side and then buttons with "accept" "tentative" "decline" on the right side of that line. This line/bar no long appears in email event/meeting invitations. On my windows 11 Laptop with Thunderbird version 128.2.1esr (64) bit, that line/bar no longer appears and I can no longer accept event/meeting requests sent to me by email. I could do this before, and I have an example from my old windows 10 laptop using Thunderbird version 115.15.0 (32 bit). Did something change with a new Thunderbird update? Or do I need to change some setting in my Thunderbird version 128.2.1esr (64 bit) app? See attached example of meeting requests received by email on both versions of Thunderbird. The email from the 115 version shows that event line/bar the email from the 128 version doesn't. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I'm running Thunderbird 128.2.0esr (64-bit) to download email messages from https://outlook.live.com using POP3.

I've been trying for weeks to switch Thunderbird from normal password to OAuth2 before outlook stops allowing normal password access to their server on September 16. But when I do that Thunderbird just stalls and doesn't download any messages. But if I switch back to normal password, then messages resume downloading.

I've uploaded a screenshot of my server settings.

Already a voluntary donor and satisfied Thunderbird user then I suddenly lost many of my folders and could not recover them, asked for support but got none; nobody interested! As a non-techy older person I expect help when necessary so this has been a sobering event, making me question my continued presence here; very disappointed. John

Hi, After migrating email server, I am having problems synchronizing some IMAP accounts, but Thunderbird is unable to organize the emails and it corrupts the display. In Webmail it is normal and I have no problems accessing it. Coincidence or not, but the emails that are causing this problem are emails that have more than 80Gb. What I did to see if it would improve, was to divide the emails into folders by year, to reduce the size of the email occupancy, but it didn't work. At first, right when I implemented it, they asked to modify this configuration:

Edit → Preferences → Advanced → General → Configuration Editor. Follow the procedure: Locate a key called: mailnews.customDBHeaders Change it to: Received After that restart the application --> Right click on the folder and go to Properties --> Repair Folder

This worked for a few days, but then it started having problems and even repairing the folder, but it didn't help. What they told me was an issue with Thunderbird reading email data on their server, but the problem continued. They kind of "washed" their hands, since it's ok on their server and asked to test it on another email client. Has anyone experienced this problem? Attached is an image of what the email looks like, there are several with the data that I asked to repair, but empty. I've already updated to the latest version of Thunderbird, but it's still like this.

I would like to connect to Suddenlink.net via Optimum.net. It does show up on Optimum.net account on web page. I have a screen shot of the constant results of my days of efforts. I have two other connections via gmail.com and it works fine. I have people who are still using Suddenlink emails to me and I would like to see them on Thunderbird. Thanks for the fine software and any help with this. //... Joe
