this new update does not work at all on my computer. it installs fine but when you try to navigate to a webpage it just thinks about it forever and never makes it. already tired uninstalling/ re-installing. tried rebooting after installation like another thread suggested. Firefox was working fine before update and has not worked once since the update. i have internet access and all of my other browsers are working fine.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions: Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox

try to proceed like it's mentioned in the help article: remove all program rules for firefox in your firewall and let it detect the new program version again (unfortunately i'm not familiar with norton's software so i cannot provide any detailed steps)

You need to contact Norton for support if there are issues with their software.
