How I use twitter: I scroll down through a few hours of tweets & work my way up the timeline. If I retweet, reply, or want to post a new tweet (using CTRL+N), I'm returned to the top of the page and have to go back down. Super annoying.

Is this a twitter problem or firefox problem?

HI robeena, Does this happen in another browser? Each site can have a script that defines keyboard shortcuts. CTRL + N is new window in Firefox.

Please post back with your results, it can help other users.

You're right. All I have to push is N. I wasn't thinking correctly when I wrote it.

It does not do the same thing in Chrome. I can retweet or post a new tweet w/o it scrolling up to the top.
