Crashes also in safe mode. Internet Explorer is also crashing. Firefox version is 3.6.11. I tried to update it by going to public library and downloading a newer version on a flashdrive, then trying to install that, but it won't install (locks up, won't complete). OS is XP Pro w/ serve pack3. Windows updates are enabled. Search can't locate "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted" Basically right now I have no working browser on that PC, so I'm using another.

This worked. I must have downloaded just an update. I have a working browser, just nee to figure out why my WiFi adapter won't connect to the router.

Could you post the crash ID of that crash report?

You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.

Redownloading the correct version if Firefox did the trick. Thank you, gentlemen.
