I am downloading a long list of JPG photos from a friend's web site, which is on a server-generated “Index of /” table of contents page.. I right click on the first link and save link as..., it opens a dialog for where to save it and how to name it. I have already told Firefox where to save these downloads, and I just want to save it under its current name. There are a few hundred of these.

Is there a way I can set it up to let me tap a link, it is downloading, and I tap the next link on down the list? Or is there a script you could recommend that would simplify this task? or a Firefox add-on?

There is at least one option to save on the wear and tear on the mouse movements, that is to hit Enter when the dialog comes up.

A second option to make Firefox automatically save a jpg does not exist in the Applications tab of Options. There I can bring up an “Irfanview PNG” but there is nothing for JPG. But I believe, were I to have Firefox save the PNG, I would still be faced with the dialog box.

Under ordinary circumstances, I would prefer the existing option, but I have a large task ahead of me. I am running Firefox 34.0.5 on Windows 7 32 bits.

Thank you.

Have you tried "DownThemAll" add-on by Nils Meyer?

I am downloading them all right now. Thank you!

Great add-on. Just checked, and it's still doing what I would have taken hours to do.

While I was at it added "Downloadthemall! anti container."

Thanks again.
