Since updating this morning and restarting, many pages are not showing text properly. Full disclosure there were Windows updates at the same time.... Some text/search boxes are almost unreadable. I tried several other fixes with font set, hardware acceleration, etc. I'm on an XP system, so I don't think I can update my display drivers anymore (Intel).

Is this a firefox update issue?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
