Add feature like Chrome

I saw a feature in Chrome for Android that I thought was FANTASTIC and I would like to see it added in FF or made available via an addon. I hope there is a developer that would be willing to look into it or perhaps there already is such an addon that I couldn't find.

The feature displays a pop-out (?) ZOOM window when you tap the screen in an area where there is more than one link, checkbox or radio button that are close together. The box magnifies the area around where the tap was made and allows the user to tap the link, etc. with more accuracy. In these situations, I normally would have to pinch-to-zoom or change my phone's orientation in order to be able to accurately tap the choice I want.

Perhaps someone knows what this feature is called or that can describe it better so that I don't get a bunch of replies about "pinch-to-zoom" or "image zoom" which are not related.

Is there any such addon or is there any hope for the development of this feature?

We are working on this however it is not ready. It is part of our Firefox nightly builds and behind an about:config pref.
