How do I open .php files as a pdf. Can do it in Safari, not in FF
I have tried opening a file from a web page that downloads as a .php. When I open it, it comes up as jibberish (to me), not as a pdf. If I use Safari, it comes up as a pdf in the proper format. Thanks in advance.

You can rename the file in Finder and add a .pdf file extension if it currently has a .php file extension.
Best is always to check the file name when you download and save a file to make sure that the file has the correct file extension to prevent such issues.

It automatically saves the file to the downloads folder
If this happens a lot then you can consider to disable automatic saving in the download settings in Options/Preferences > General (Always ask me where to save files).
