I discovered today that Firefox doesn't play Vimeo videos any more. It plays Youtube, though the screen says "a plugin is required" before it actually finds one and begins playing. Plugin Container no longer appears in the Task manager.

I understand that vimea requires a plugin in order to watch videos. It may be trying to detect a video player like flash or realplayer. Use plugins to play audio, video, games and more

If the plugin container is missing you can use a stub installer from the page you originally downloaded Firefox to repair your current installation.

Note that some pages (YouTube) can use an HTML5 media player and in that case you won't see the plugin-container process.

Your system details list doesn't show that the Shockwave Flash plugin is installed and enabled.
