I'd like to develop a custom browser for a very specific purpose using the gecko engine. I saw a GIT project for a gecko veiwer, but it hasn't been touched in a year and is missing a lot of functionality.

Is there a mobile version of the gecko web browser control that o could use to develop a semi powerful browser?

Geckoview is the project https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/GeckoView though this is an end user support forum and you won't get much help here. Mozilla's IRC server is a decent place to ask if you are awake during the time Europe to North America is awake. irc://irc.mozilla.org/mobile
