Cannot get icon and text for items in tool bar, tabs suck! cannot arrange icons I liked firefox 28 better for customization but it keeps crashing....NOT HAPPY!
there is no space and firefox says I can put icons anywhere on the tool bar... it jumps to the end and I can't get anything in the middle of the page the Icons are small and there is no option to make them bigger and add text to the icon. the tabs that look like a file folder suck. there is no option to add a tool bar or put tabs on top All in all this is 10 steps backwards instead of an improvement... you had something very user friendly with 28 and this is just fucked up I will be looking for a different browser

Hi Gary, are you just now coming to the new interface design? There is an old article on how to use an add-on to restyle it like the classic interface of Firefox 4-28, or even earlier. If you don't find another browser that makes you happy, please take a look: How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox.
If you have no patience for configuring an add-on, the Seamonkey suite might be worth a look, as I believe it probably can import your existing Firefox data: http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

By the way, your Question Details > More System Details show two Flash player DLLs. I suggest removing the older one now because sooner or later, it may cause problems.
The official way to clean up duplicate Flash files is to uninstall Flash and reinstall it. However, it usually works just to remove the older file from disk.
This article has the uninstaller: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
To locate the DLL on disk, you can type or paste about:plugins in the address bar and press Enter. Then use Find (Ctrl+f) to look for npswf32 and you should find the complete path of disk for both 18 and 19. On 64-bit Windows 7, that's usually here:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
Please note that Adobe places numerous other files in this folder. I only recommend removing the older file starting with NPSWF32_18 and ending with DLL.
You can look at the Classic Theme Restorer extension to customize the appearance and restore features used in older Firefox versions.
- Classic Theme Restorer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
- You can check out the settings of the CTR extension via its Options/Preferences button on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" page.
- You can find extra toolbar buttons and more toolbar settings in Customize (3-bar Firefox menu button > Customize)
Thanks guys...
