I want to be able to access the about config settings on my ipad. My ultimate goal is to turn off the print dialogue box. So maybe there is a different way to do that on the Ipad.

The iOS version of Firefox is not like the desktop or Android Firefox as it is a shell due to Apple's restrictions.
