OS: Windows 10 Browser: Firefox Video Download Converter has attached to Mozilla as a Tool Bar. It controls the Start Screen as well as "Tabs". If I try to change the Start home page URL, it will automatically go back to the Vid Converter. I have uninstalled Firefox, removed every trace from registry, and re-installed a fresh download of Mozilla only to have the malware to return. Win 10-There is no trace of the App in Programs and Features to uninstall.

Hi, look in the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A) > Extensions/Plugins. Also look in your PC's Programs and do a search for it.

If that doesn't help, you can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
