To view what your user agent string currently is, you can use the Troubleshooting Information page. Either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
  • (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
  • type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter

It's in the first table on the page.

Some add-ons may modify your user agent string as seen by sites. I have a test page where you can see what was reported (it's normal to appear in red text):

Also, your Firefox identified itself to the forum as version 42. An update is available: this article describes how to get Firefox 48.0 using the "About Firefox" dialog on the help menu: Update Firefox to the latest release.

If something is holding you back from upgrading to Firefox 48, please let us know so we can suggest solutions or workarounds. Version 42 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release.
